What is Tribal Fusion? The short answer........

Tribal Fusion bellydance is an american variation of Bellydance.  With the utmost respect for Bellydance in its original form the tribal dancer combines movements and music from other dance forms and cultures to creat a dance that is uniquely her own.  Ther costumes reflect their individuality and the cultures from which they borrow their moves or music. The music that moves them is modern or ancient, fluid or percussive.

Oasis Bellydance show 2008

Late November 2008 we were thrilled to be invited to be Guest Dancers for Oasis Bellydancing's year end show! We liked their wide choice of music and their super friendly attitude! It was great for us to perform in a real theatre with great lighting and perfect sound.  We were lucky enough to have some professional photo's done and I really like the results - Im actually smiling!  : )

Newsflash(er) : )

5th of February began bright and early - sitting in  the morning traffic in full costume and make up is an experience every dancer should have at least once!  I was heading for my new Parkhurst class where we (Karen, Vanessa and I)  would be interviewed for the Rosebank/Killarney Gazette.  Sahira our reporter arrived and took some candid shots of us performing a choreography and some nice posed ones too.
